As a candidate for Governor of Nakuru County in 2027, my vision for healthcare is one rooted in accessibility, affordability, and quality. Drawing from my experience as CEO of NHIF and as a Certified Public Accountant, I am uniquely positioned to tackle the challenges facing our county’s healthcare system.
Our county’s health facilities are grappling with insufficient resources, understaffing, and outdated infrastructure. My priority will be to ensure that every Nakuru resident has access to affordable and efficient healthcare, regardless of their location or socioeconomic status.
My government will consultatively lobby and implement reforms that will enhance the management of our public health facilities, streamline the delivery of services, and ensure timely procurement of medical supplies. By optimizing the allocation of county health resources, I will work to reduce the financial burden on families. We will seek to establish a Naku-Afya program and card that covers the most needy in our society as we roll out an efficient county-wide Afya card.
With a focus on preventive healthcare, community health programs, and public-private partnerships, I am committed to improving healthcare outcomes and building a healthier Nakuru for future generations.
