If elected Governor of Nakuru County in 2027, my vision is to build strong, sustainable partnerships with institutions of higher learning such as Egerton University, Kabarak University, Rift Valley Institute of Science and Technology, KARLO, Comboni Polytechnic, Baraka Agricultural College, and others. These institutions are key players in shaping the county’s future, and I will leverage their expertise to drive development across various sectors.
I will promote collaborative research and innovation in agriculture, technology, and environmental sustainability, ensuring that academic institutions play an active role in addressing local challenges. Through internships, training programs, and mentorship, we will equip students with the practical skills needed to thrive in the workforce and contribute to Nakuru’s growth.
Additionally, I will advocate for the establishment of innovation hubs and incubation centers in partnership with universities, fostering entrepreneurship and creating job opportunities for our youth.
