If elected Governor of Nakuru County in 2027, my vision is to build a dynamic, modern agricultural sector that empowers farmers, supports food security, and drives economic growth. Nakuru, with its rich agricultural land, is a cornerstone of Kenya’s food production, and I aim to enhance its potential through innovative practices and sustainable farming solutions.
Together we will promote the use of modern farming technologies, such as precision agriculture and smart irrigation systems, to increase productivity and reduce costs. A key priority will be to improve access to affordable credit, enabling farmers to invest in quality seeds, equipment, and fertilizers.
Additionally, we will work to strengthen value chains for key crops like potatoes, pyrethrum, flowers, maize, and dairy, facilitating better access to markets both locally and internationally. Training programs for farmers on climate-smart practices and sustainable land management will also be central to my plan, ensuring Nakuru remains a leader in agricultural innovation.

By fostering partnerships with agribusinesses and investing in agricultural research, Nakuru will become a model for food production and sustainability in Kenya.
