If elected Governor of Nakuru County in 2027, my vision is to position Nakuru as a top-tier global tourism destination, blending our natural beauty with sustainable development. We will prioritize the enhancement of key attractions like Menengai Crater, Hell’s Gate National Park, Lake Nakuru, and Lake Elementaita, transforming them into world-class destinations with improved infrastructure, eco-friendly accommodations, and immersive visitor experiences. This will also help us create local jobs for our population
We will work together to promote local culture and heritage through community-driven tourism, creating opportunities for artisans, guides, and local businesses to thrive. By investing in road networks, eco-lodges, and digital marketing, we will make Nakuru more accessible and attractive to international tourists while preserving our environment.
Additionally, I will collaborate with the private sector and national tourism bodies to host major events, wildlife conservation programs, and cultural festivals, ensuring that Nakuru not only showcases its natural wonders but becomes a thriving hub for eco-tourism and sustainable travel.
